Season-end cutoff pushes. Title and drake, or nothing.
Gladiator is a placement rather than a rating, which changes how you have to plan for it.
There is no number that awards the title. Gladiator goes to the top 0.5% of each bracket when the season closes, which means the rating you need is decided by everybody else and is not known until the last day.
It also needs 50 wins across the season, on your own personal rating, since arena teams do not exist on these realms. The cutoff guide covers how far the line has historically moved.
Because the target moves. A moving target billed by the point is a meter running in our favour, and the bad weeks should be our problem rather than yours.
It also means we cannot stop at a number and call it done. A push runs through the final days of the season, because that is when the cutoff settles.
Piloted only, over Parsec, with no VPN option. A cutoff push sits at the top of a public ladder for weeks, and Parsec means you never hand over a password and the account never logs in from anywhere it has not before.
Our reasoning is set out in full in the account safety guide, including the parts that are not reassuring.
Yes, if you can already hold a rating in the high 1,900s with partners who show up. How long it takes depends entirely on you, so nobody can promise a timeline honestly.
Coaching is the route if you want the title to be yours, and an hour of it will tell you fairly quickly whether the season you are in is realistic.
