The two unlocks people actually buy: weapon at 1,700, shoulders at 2,000.
Only two slots in the whole set are gated, and both gates work differently than most guides say.
Most of the Vengeful Gladiator set has no rating requirement at all. You can buy the chest, legs, gloves and helm at any rating as soon as you have the points.
Two slots are the exception, and they are the two that decide games: weapons need 1,700 and shoulders need 2,000.
No. Both gates check your personal rating and nothing else. Arena teams do not exist on the Anniversary realms, so if you have read that a weapon also needs a team rating, that guide was written for original TBC.
Rating is tracked separately in every bracket though, which is the detail that sends people to our tickets: a comfortable 2v2 number does nothing for a 3v3 gate. The full rating requirements guide has the complete table and the mistakes that cost people a week.
Both carries are flat priced in the bracket you choose, and both include the games needed to cap arena points for the week. Rating without the points to spend at it is half a result, so we do not sell it that way.
Your starting rating does not change the price. 1,100 or 1,650 costs the same.
Quite possibly. If you are within a couple of hundred rating of the gate and playing regularly, an hour of coaching costs a fraction of a carry and will tell you quickly whether you are two habits away from doing it yourself.
A carry moves the number once. If the habits are still there, the number comes back down.
